The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will host their 28th Annual Induction Banquet on Saturday, June 3rd at Noon at Dyer Hudson Hall in Knoxville.
Doug Auld, Earl cooper, Dave Darland, Tony Elliot, Guy Forbrook, Terry McCarl, John Singer and Pat Sullivan will all be inducted into the hall of fame during the banquet. A reception honoring the inductees will be held the night before on the second floor of the museum. Executive Director with the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum, Bob Baker tells KNIA/KRLS News the reception Friday night is free to the public and will feature past inductees who will take part in a bench racing reception where members talk about past racing and stories from their racing days. Baker says, it’s a good chance for fans to hear about the history of racing and enjoying the stories that are told. The reception will begin at 7 p.m. the night of Friday, June 2nd.
