Newton edged PCM by six strokes to win the Colfax-Mingo boys golf invitational on Saturday, with Pella Christian finishing third out of five team.

The Cardinals tallied a team score of 341, with PCM at 347 and Pella Christian scoring 370.

The Eagle’s Graham Howerzyl finished third individually with an 83, five shots back of Newton medalist Austin Reynolds.

Pella Christian will be in action on Friday at the 2A sectional meet at Pleasantville Country Club.
