Both Pella’s boys and girls tennis teams are on to the round of 16 after victories Saturday.

The Little Dutch beat Albia 5-0 in the substate prelims, and will play Saturday in Fairfield against Davenport Assumption in the substate.

The Lady Dutch knocked off Albia 5-0, while Pella Christian knocked off Knoxville 5-1. Pella then beat the cross-town rival Eagles by a 5-0 tally. They’ll play Ballard in Ankeny in the team regional finals next Saturday.

Of the 15 sets that were won by Pella’s boys and girls combined, 14 of them were won in straight sets.
