Pella got revenge for an early season loss to Grinnell with a 5-3 victory last night in the second round of the boys soccer postseason.

Soren Stelter had two goals and two assists, Ethan Poulter also scored twice and Ben Nelson added a goal while Nathan Leathers and Bailey Hamilton chipped in with assists.

Last night’s win moves the Little Dutch to the class 2-A substate six final, where they’ll meet another Little Hawkeye Conference rival – defending state champion Norwalk.

The Warriors handled Pella easily during the regular season, 9-0 on April 25th. The Little Dutch will get their chance at redemption, and a trip to the state tournament, when the two teams square off Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in Norwalk.

Pella is 7-12 on the season and has won five of its last seven games.
