A scoreless first half turned into an offensive barrage in the second half, with the Pella Christian girls soccer team coming out on top 3-2 last night against Grinnell.

The 15th-ranked Eagles fell behind 1-0, but took a 2-1 lead on goals by Cailey Terpstra and Lindsay Breon. After the Tigers tied the game at two, Annika Terpstra found Breon for the game winner in the 68th minute.

After not registering a Little Hawkeye Conference victory the last two seasons, Pella Christian now has two in the span of a week and stands at 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the LHC.

The Eagles have back-to-back home games next Monday and Tuesday against Knoxville and DCG.
