With 190 points, the Pella High girls cruised to the 2017 Little Hawkeye Conference Track & Field Championships last night in Grinnell. Pella Christian took sixth.

It’s the eighth straight league title for the Lady Dutch, who were 63 points better than runner-up Indianola. The Eagles scored 55.5.

Pella Christian’s best finish were runner-up performances by Morgan Fopma in the 400 meter hurdles, Lizzy Van Manen in the discus and the 4×200 meter relay team (Erica Nikkel, Mary Kate Bandstra, Fopma, Evie Armstrong)
