For the first time in school history, the Pella High girls tennis team has qualified for the state team tournament.

The Lady Dutch beat Ballard 5-0 in Ankeny yesterday to advance to the final eight.

Pella will turn right around for that quarterfinal match, taking on Waterloo Columbus at 3:00 this afternoon.
