Sportsmanship prevailed for a couple of area middle school track and field athletes at a recent meet. Twin Cedars was invited to participate in the Pride of Iowa Conference middle school meet on May 5th due to several rainouts on their schedule. Twin Cedars High Jumper Hailey Curry won the high jump with a height four feet seven inches, but decided to give her blue ribbon awards to second place jumper Josie Hartman of Southeast Warren because she didn’t want to spoil her conference championship title.
