The boys and girls of summer are kicking off the season this week, and two local teams will clash to kick off the 2017 campaign tonight.

Pella Christian will host the Pleasantville baseball and softball teams for non-conference action.

Across town, the Pella baseball team hosts Carlisle while the Lady Dutch take on Ballard.
