The spring sports Iowa Conference all-academic team features 33 Central College student-athletes who were honored for their academic and athletic excellence.

Central’s softball team paced the Dutch with a league-high eight honorees. Both the men’s and women’s track and field squads had seven a piece with the baseball program close behind with six.

Women’s track and field athletes Emma Drees, Andie Arthofer and Morgan Koenigs, baseball player Noah Stochl and men’s tennis player Alex Anderson all received the recognition for third time.

To qualify for the distinction, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing with one year at his/her current school, achieve a 3.5 GPA or better and compete at the varsity level.
