Orthopedic Surgeon with Iowa Ortho Christopher Vincent is now Medical Director of Orthopedics at Pella Regional Health Center.
Dr. Vincent joined Pella Regional’s medical staff in 2012 and practices in Pella and Ottumwa. In this additional role, Dr. Vincent will be an advocate for orthopedic practices in order to recommend, establish and implement policies, procedures and protocols, attend quality assurance meetings, assist with continuing education of staff, and to support credentialing and utilization review. Dr. Vincent is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has significant experience in treating people with a variety of injuries. His specialties include sports medicine, work injuries, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction and rotator cuff repairs.
“Dr. Vincent is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon who brings strong clinical leadership and evidence-based health practices to move Pella Regional forward in delivering coordinated, integrated orthopedic care,” said Tony Linkmeyer, Chief of Ancillary Services at Pella Regional.
Growth over the past several years has led to an expansion for Iowa Ortho, which has led to the construction of a new Orthopedics Center on the Pella Regional campus on Jefferson Street. The building will house Iowa Ortho and Pella Regional’s Therapy Services and is scheduled to open by the end of 2017.
