It was a dominating Friday night at the Knoxville Baseball Complex as the Panthers drubbed Albia in a double header 16-6 in game one and 13-1 in game two, run ruling the Demons in both games. In game one, Cameron Liston earned the win while the Panther bats were hot throughout. In the nightcap it was much of the same but with Kaleb Streigle on the mound pitching four masterful innings giving up one run on one hit, one walk, and striking out five. Blake McClung, who was 4/4 with two R-B-I pitched the final inning. Ben Wallace continued his torrid batting with two doubles, one was with bases loaded to blow game two wide open. Coach Matt Miller told KNIA/KRLS Sports the players are starting to buy in. Knoxville is now 6-2 and 5-0 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers are off until Monday when they battle Clarke.
