The Knoxville Baseball Squad seemed to be in complete control of its game after the fourth inning leading 10-2 over Gilbert. However, the top of the fifth was a nightmare and the Panthers allowed 11 Tiger runs to cross the plate to take a 13-10 lead and eventually the Panthers lost 13-12. During that fifth inning, Knoxville catcher Patrick Crawford suffered a neck injury when a baseball bounced up and struck him causing officials at Principal Park to summon emergency services to take him to a local hospital. Crawford was later released and should be in the lineup tonight. Blake McClung was 3/5 with two R-B-I. Knoxville is now 16-5 on the season and will travel to Albia tonight.
