The Knoxville Baseball Squad split its games in the Carlisle Invitational on Saturday. The Panthers fell to the host Wildcats in game one 2-1. R-J Roberts took the loss pitching six innings and allowing one run on three hits, but the Panthers were unable to provide much run support. Rylan Cox led the offense with two hits. In the second game the Panthers hammered Des Moines Christian 10-0 ending the game early due to the mercy rule in the sixth inning. Cox got the win going five innings allowing just two hits and striking out four. He was a also good at the plate going 2/4. Knoxville is now 11-3 on the season and will play at Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday.
