The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session Monday.

The board will discuss a possible partnership with the City of Knoxville to provide eight new tennis courts and a full-size outdoor basketball court. The courts would be located across the street from the high school where the skate park is currently located. The city would then build a new skate park at Youngs Park. Knoxville High School Principal Tracy Wilkins and Activities Director Ryan Rump will recommend to the board the purchase of two new scoreboards to replace the current gym scoreboard. The board will discuss the current drivers education contract as well as review the 2017 Iowa School Board Legislative Resolutions. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the Knoxville School Administration Building.
