The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad made quick work of Diagonal last night in a 13-0 romp over the Maroons. The Saints’ Emilie Krpan allowed just two hits and struck out seven to get the fiving inning win. Melcher-Dallas grabbed an early lead on an error, a groundout by Kynser Reed, a home run by Gracie Mann, a double by Anndee Clark, and a single by Mackenzie Godfrey in the first inning and before the fans got comfortable it was 6-0 Saints. This is the third straight shut out the Saints have tossed. Things get tougher as Centerville comes to Melcher-Dallas tonight. Melcher-Dallas baseball fell to Sigourney 12-0 last night. The Saints could only manage one hit off the Savages.
