The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad swept both games at the Lamoni Invitational on Saturday. The Saints doubled up the host Demons 10-5. Noah Avila went 3/4 to highlight the offense. Melcher-Dallas then took game two over Mormon Trail 1-0 as Paul Karpan scored the lone run in the sixth and got the win with 12 strikeouts. The Saints are now 8-9 on the season and look to get to the 500 mark against Sigourney on Tuesday.
