The PCM baseball team won both of its games on Saturday in a weekend tournament at West Marshall, over Grundy Center 7-1 and the hosts 3-2.

Dane Owens picked up the win on the mound in game one, throwing 5 ⅔ innings and only allowing two hits. Brayton Van Dyke had a pair of hits and an RBI, while Noah Clark drove in two. In game two against the red hot Trojans, Brady Fagen was stellar in the start with Trevor Bistline coming on in relief in dramatic fashion. The Mustangs trailed 1-0 heading into the sixth, but scored a pair of runs to take the lead but West Marshall scored one to tie it heading into the final frame. A passed ball allowed Olin Meinders to score and gave the Mustangs the win. PCM improves to 13-6 on the season, and will play conference rival CMB tonight at home.
