The PCM Softball team ended their brief skid with an 8-0 win over Saydel, while the Mustang baseball team had to get creative with their pitching in an 8-1 loss.

Kayla Jennings picked up the win in the circle throwing the complete game shutout and striking out a pair. Abby Waddell was 2-5 and had six RBI’s with a grand slam, while Jennings was 4-5 at the plate herself. PCM is now 11-6 on the season, and play in a tournament as Oskaloosa later this afternoon. After a first inning injury to their starting pitcher, the PCM Mustang baseball team used a total of six different pitchers in a six inning loss to Saydel. Noah Henkenius had the only RBI for PCM, while Reed Worth had the only hit. Worth picked up the tough luck loss on the mound as well. PCM is now also 11-6 and will play in a tournament as West Marshall this afternoon.
