Pella’s softball team dropped a pair of games against the Ankeny schools Saturday on their home turf. The Lady Dutch were beaten by Centennial 12-3 in the morning, then by Ankeny 12-0 in the afternoon.

Madison Parks was two-for-three against Centennial with a double and a run scored and Maddie Rempe had one hit in each game.

The Lady Dutch are now 5-24 on the season.

Pella returns to action tonight night, when both the baseball and softball teams host Oskaloosa for varsity doubleheaders. The baseball twinbill starts at 5:30, with first pitch for softball at 6:00.
