The Cardinals of Central Decatur traveled to Pleasantville last night and left without a victory, as the Trojan baseball and softball squads completed the sweep, 9-1 and 7-3 respectively.

Colton Major threw six innings striking out 12 along the way to pick up the win, while offensively Major was 2-3 with a pair of RBI and Cael Lester continues to rake going 2-4 with a double. Abby DeJoode threw another solid start in the circle to garner another win, while Josie Sowers was 4-4 at the dish. The baseball team is now 15-10 and plays Chariton tonight, while the softball squad is now 17-12 on the season and waits until tomorrow for a rematch with I-35.
