Both the baseball and softball teams from Pleasantville came home from Central Decatur last night with a victory, the baseball team winning 2-0 and the softball team 12-0.

Quinton Berglund picked up the win on the mound for the Trojans, going the whole way and garnering 11 strikeouts. Gauge Van Haalen went 2-4 at the plate, and Colton Major 2-3. The Trojans improve to 7-3 on the season. The bats stayed hot for the Trojans softball squad, with Josie Sowers, Hannah Hatch, Corinne Thomas, and Andie Sowers all picking up a pair of hits. Abby DeJoode got the win in the circle to bring the team to 5-4 on the season. The baseball team takes the night off, while the softball squads faces off against Marion County rival Twin Cedars tonight.
