Playing in a rescheduled game at Principal Park in a rematch of last year’s substate, the Pleasantville Trojans took one-loss Van Meter to extra innings, but fell 5-1 in eight. Then in a scheduling oddity, the Trojans hosted Marion County Rival Twin Cedars in a night game which the lost 6-1.

Caleb Adreon paced the offense with a 2-4 game at Principal Park, with Quinton Berglund going 2-3.

In the nightcap, Jake Knox of Twin Cedars was stellar on the mound going the full seven innings allowing only three hits and striking out nine. Nick Haselhuhn was 2-3, and Brock Denburger was 2-4. On the Trojan side, Cael Lester hit a home run on a 1-3 night, while Gauge Van Haalen was 2-3.
