The Pleasantville baseball team broke out the bats in their weekend tournament, going 2-0 taking down West Marshall 7-4, and Colo-Nesco 14-1.

Kyle Amendt hit a three run home run in the seventh inning to give the Trojans the win in game one. Owen Worthington did on the mound and at the plate in game two, picking up the win and hitting a triple and a double. Gauge Van Haalen also had two doubles. Pleasantville improves to 9-4 on the season. The Trojan softball squad continued their tournament from Friday, taking down Madrid 5-4, and falling to Lewis Central 9-3. Pleasantville now sits with an 8-7 record, and both squads will take on East Union tonight on the road.
