The Pleasantville Trojan softball team made it through the Melcher-Dallas tournament on Saturday unscathed, taking down the host Saints 10-1 and Seymour 7-2.

Against Melcher, Abby DeJoode picked up the win in the circle with Andie Sowers having a three hit day with three RBI, and Makenzie McGriff was also 3-5 and a pair of RBI. Against Seymour, the same stars for the Trojans shined again. DeJoode threw a five hitter in the circle, with Sowers going 4-4 with a triple and three runs scored, and McGriff 2-4 with three RBI. The Trojans are now 15-11 on the season, and continues tournament play on Monday at Centerville.
