The Pleasantville softball team showed off its continual improvement last night with a 7-3 win over conference foe Lenox, while the baseball team continues to struggle for hits but again pulled out a win 3-1.

The Trojan girls picked up 11 hits on the night, led by Andie Sowers who was 3-4 with a stolen base, and Makenzie McGriff who was 2-4 with a pair of runs batted in. Abby DeJoode got the win in the circle, which ends a three game losing streak and evens the Trojans record at 4-4.

Picking up only three hits on the night, the Trojan baseball team relied on another strong outing from Kyle Amendt who went the distance striking out nine and getting the win. The Trojans mustered only three hits on the night, but it brings the Trojans to an overall record of 6-3. Both squads travel to conference rival Central Decatur tonight.
