The Pleasantville baseball team played a close game with the ranked Blue Devils of Martensdale-St. Mary’s, but ended up falling 7-4, while the softball team fell 11-1.

The Trojans traded scores with the Blue Devils, and got hits from six different players in their lineup led by Gauge Van Haalen who was 2-3 on the night. On the softball side, Head Coach Marcy Roff told KNIA/KRLS that the team played better than the 10 run scoreline. The offense was led by Hannah Hatch who was 2-2 and Andie Sowers who was also 2-2 with a double. Both teams will take tonight off before traveling to Wayne tomorrow.
