Marion County Emergency Management, the Knoxville Hy-Vee, and KNIA/KRLS are hosting the first annual Marion County Public Safety Night Out tomorrow evening.

Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson tells KNIA/KRLS News residents should come out to the square, see what’s going on and shake the hands of the first responders because it goes a long way towards keeping the around and knowing they matter. Tomorrow’s event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the square in downtown Knoxville. A free will donation dinner will be provided by the Hy-Vee grill Law enforcement vehicles, fire trucks and ambulances from all over the county will all be on display. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on hand to make announcements and play music.
