The Red Rock Threshers tractor club is beginning day two of their tractor ride through Marion and Jasper counties.

Henry Van Roekel, with the club, tells KNIA/KRLS News yesterday’s ride set a record, with 255 tractors participating. Day one took the club 76 miles from Pella to Reasnor, to Prairie City and the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge, to Monroe and back to Pella. Today, they will travel 59 miles, leaving Pella at 7:30 a.m., traveling to Twin Cedars High School for morning break beginning at 9:00 a.m. They will then travel to the Knoxville square for lunch, with the fastest tractors arriving at approximately 11:00 a.m. They will then drive to East Pleasant, out the Old Pella Road to T-15, over the dam, and into Pella, arriving mid-afternoon. The Red Rock Threshers Club is made up of members from all over south central Iowa.
