If you have a nickname like dynamite, you better have a car that performs like it. Mark Dobmeier looked to be a Nationals form as he led all 20 laps of the 410 A-Main last night at the Knoxville Raceway and ran away from runner up Terry McCarl to get not only a win at the half-mile, but also a side of beef during the Marion County Fair races. Clint Garner received a side of pork with his 360 win as he patiently waited for an opening to clear and took the lead with 12 laps to go and hold on for the win. Getting three whole chickens was 305 winner Kelby Watt getting his first career win at Knoxville. Watt became the second youngest winner in Knoxville Raceway history. Also, the dirt trucks ran and Brad Moyer was the winner. Next week it is another points show with all three classes running and maybe a few visitors tuning up for Nationals.
