Four members of the PC Eagles and one from the Pella Shooters Club participated at the Scholastic Clay Target Program Nationals earlier this month in Marengo, Ohio.

Colten Uitermarkt, Emma Van Donselaar, Dominick Vermeer and Maclane Heinen represented the Eagles, while Alec VandeNoort flew the flag of the Pella Shooters Club.

VandeNoort competed in the Intermediate / Entry division, and his best finishes were second in 200 doubles trap and fifth in 100 target doubles skeet.

Uitermarkt was in the Senior / Varsity men’s division, with his best finishes being 12th in the 100 target doubles skeet and 17th in the 100 target bunker trap.

Van Donselaar was also in the Senior / Varsity division, on the women’s side, where she took fourth in 100 target doubles skeet and 13th in 100 bunker trap and 200 target sporting clays.

Both Vermeer and Heinen were in the Senior / Junior Varsity men’s division. Vermeer’s top finishes were 19th in 200 target American skeet and 20th in 100 target doubles skeet, while Heinen took 15th in both 200 target singles trap and 200 target doubles skeet.

As a team, the PC Eagles took third in 100 target doubles skeet and eighth in 200 target American skeet.
