After a successful freshman season at the University of Iowa, Pella’s Grant Judkins saw action earlier this summer for the Lacrosse Loggers.

The team plays in the Northwoods League, which is comprised of college baseball players.

Judkins appeared in 20 of Lacrosse’s games, batting .312 with three homers, three doubles and 10 RBI.

He also took the mound in three games, struggling to the tune of a 14.72 ERA in three and two-thirds innings.

He left the team on July eighth.
