We start our top ten events of the Knoxville, Twin Cedars, and Melcher-Dallas Sports seasons. Our first events is a series that happened at the state track and field meet for Knoxville Freshman Katie Keitges. Usually a freshman does not make it in four events do as well as Keitges did this spring. She qualified in three open events the 400 which she finished tenth, the highest finishing freshman, the 800 where she finished fifth also the highest finishing freshman, and fifth in the 1500. Add to that she teamed up with Bailey Carter, Abbey Jackson, and Emery Neer to finish seventh in the distance medley relay, and if that was not enough she also qualified for the Drake Relays in the 1500 and finished a strong 11th against runners from all classes.
