Knoxville City Council to Discuss Options for Vacant City Council Position

The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today.

The council will accept the resignation of council member Craig Kelley as well as discuss possible action to fill the vacancy. They will consider a change to the Montgomery Street Sewer Project that would add an additional $4,208 to the project. The council will also consider a resolution for approving contracts, bonds and certificates of insurance for the 2017 street improvements contract. They will also discuss and take possible action to reallocate Knoxville Living funds. The council will discuss and take possible action with members of the dog park regarding a lease agreement. They will consider a resolution proposing the transfer of an interest in real property by easement as well as hold a discussion with possible action taken regarding a city owned property at 705 South Seventh. The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m and will be held at the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
