The Knoxville Softball Squad will embark on the class 4A regional tonight with a trip to Newton. The Panthers have had a rather unusual season this year and a frustrating one as well. At 12-18 the Panthers are not being given much of a chance to win tonight over a 16-18 Newton team that has been through the rigors of the Little Hawkeye Conference. However, Interim Coach Hayley Freestone tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they are taking a confident approach to tonight’s game.
