With the weekend over the 2017 Marion County Fair is in high gear as events, activities and contests continue throughout the week.

Today will begin with a sheep show at 8 a.m. but will feature activities such as the kids craft corner at noon, face painting by the Knoxville FFA from 12 to 2 p.m. and the bucket and bottle lamb and goat show at 2 p.m. The livestock judging contest will begin at 4 p.m. with the poultry show starting at 5 p.m. Monday’s events will conclude with the fun horse show at 7 p.m. and professional wrestling in the show pavilion at 7 p.m. The carnival will once again open up at noon with rides only costing $1 a ticket. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be on hand playing music and making announcements.
