Class 1A softball will get the regional underway tomorrow. Melcher-Dallas will enter the regional against Seymour at 16-11 with a very young team. The Saints have 13 girls who are either eighth grade or freshmen. The Saints and Warriors split two games this season, both low scoring contests. Melcher-Dallas Coach Jim Crozier tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the game will come down to pitching as runs will be at a premium. His pitcher, Emilie Krpan has had a great sophomore season with over 100 strikeouts, 27 of which are against Seymour. Game time is at seven in Melcher-Dallas.
