The Knoxville Baseball Squad will use the remainder of the schedule to head east to Burlington for three games this week. The Panthers will play Mount Pleasant on Thursday, then Friday take on Burlington-Notre Dame and Fort Madison. Coach Matt Miller tells KNIA/KRLS when he took over the Panther Baseball program he wanted to keep the tradition of traveling to either the eastern or western part of Iowa to play teams that the Panthers do not normally see. He says after a grueling conference and non-conference season, he wants the guys to have fun while trying to win three games this weekend. The Panthers first game against Mount Pleasant will be Thursday at five P-M.
