Four runs in the sixth inning by Oskaloosa did in the Knoxville Baseball Squad last night as the Panthers fell to the Indians 4-2 in the class 3A District title game heard live on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA. Knoxville seemed to be cruising with Kaleb Streigel on the mound, but when Oskaloosa chased him away Ben Wallace was unable to stem the tide and the damage was done. Oskaloosa sat down the Panthers in order in the seventh to seal the win. Wallace took the loss going 2/3 of an inning giving up two runs on two hits, no walks or strikeouts. Trent Davis was 2/4 at the plate with an R-B-I, and Blake McClung was 2/4 with an R-B-I. Knoxville finishes the season 28-8.
