Not wanting to end their home season with a loss, the Pella baseball team scored 8 runs, all with two outs, to charge themselves into a take down Perry 11-1 in five innings last night.

Trailing the Bluejays 1-0 after two outs in the bottom of the third inning, the Little Dutch strung 11 baserunners together to blow the game wide open.

Caleb Piersma finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Jaden Rolffs had three walks, Tyler Hillman was 2-3 with two driven in, and Landen Vander Leest was 2-for-2 with a pair of runs batted in.

Pella has won four in a row and travels to Adel to wrap up the regular season tonight.
