After what was arguably the worst night in the season for the Pella baseball team in their 14-1 regular season loss to Knoxville, the Little Dutch hope to correct what caused the sour evening to get one back against their rivals when the playoffs start tomorrow.

Pella has ripped off a five-game winning streak since that July 3rd meltdown that saw six Dutch errors.

Head Coach Jesse Jablonski says one of the biggest keys to success Friday will be to learn from the mistakes made against the Panthers.

During the streak, the Little Dutch have been red hot at the plate, hitting .417 and scoring 46 runs. The Little Dutch and Panthers square off in Oskaloosa in the Class 3A district opener. That game can be heard live with pregame starting at 4:30 on 92.1 KRLS.
