For most of the season, the Eagles baseball team has been able to rely on their pitching and defense to keep them close in games.

However, a lengthy offensive drought led to nine losses in ten games in the middle of June. Since then, the Eagles have won nine of ten. The biggest factor according to second baseman Isaac Vander Hart has been the offense turning it around.

During their seven game winning streak, Pella Christian is averaging just under eight runs per game. The Eagles will take their red-hot bats to Centerville Saturday in the Class 2A District 11 title game against the Big Reds, a game that can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
