The Pella Christian softball team closed out the 2017 regular season Saturday with two more wins at the Don Bosco tournament.

The Eagles flew past West Marshall 10-0 in the first game of the day, then rallied for a 6-2 win over Centerville.

In the win over West Marshall, both Lizzy Van Manen and Chloe Dembski hit home runs. Against Centerville, Pella Christian trailed 2-0 before scoring six runs in the fifth.

The Eagles finish the regular season at 30-5 and will next play on Wednesday in the opening round of the regional tournament.

Pella Christian’s baseball team had the weekend off, and will be back at it tonight against Marion County foe Twin Cedars in Bussey.
