Laura Clanton has resigned as director of Pella Community Ambulance.

Clanton voluntarily approached the Pella Community Ambulance Board of Directors at their July meeting and presented her intention to no longer serve as the organization’s leader. The board accepted her resignation as director, and the search is underway for a replacement. Clanton will remain acting director until a suitable replacement can be found. She has been serving as the organization’s leader since the retirement of longtime director Doug Polking on January 1st, 2015.

The Pella Community Ambulance Board is working to ensure that all ambulance services are fully-staffed and available to serve all area residents in their jurisdiction, including Pella, Lake Prairie Township, and surrounding communities.

Pella Community Ambulance is a not-for-profit organization partnering with the City of Pella to provide EMS service to the region.
