A Pella man was arrested on a warrant this week for stealing a firearm from Theisen’s.

Jeremiah James Carroll, 18, has been charged with 3rd degree burglary, a class D felony, and carrying weapons without a permit. According to court records, Carroll reached over to a display case in the store and police say he then took a .22 caliber handgun in June.

Carroll left the store without paying for the gun, and attempted to conceal it as he left the property.
