The Pleasantville FFA Alumni Chapter is currently seeking volunteers for the Iowa State Fair which will take place August 10th through the 20th.

The alumni will be organizing volunteers to drive the tractor trams provided as a transportation service on the fairgrounds.

With the increase in boarding points, the Pleasantville FFA Alumni are asking for volunteers to serve a 6 to 6.5 hour shift during the hours of 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

For the past five years, the group has filled over 400 volunteer hours at the Iowa State Fair with the tram service to all fair goers. The FFA Alumni needs the help to fill the increased number of shifts to continue the tradition.

Volunteers will receive a free parking pass, free meal ticket, free admission ticket, and a free t-shirt. Volunteers must be age 18 or older with a valid driver’s license. Training will be provided prior to the fair. For more information and to sign up to be a volunteer click here.
