After an 18-10 season and the loss of a graduating senior class consisting of five members, the offense will take the biggest hit for the upcoming 2018 season.

Three seniors hit over .300 this season for the Mustangs, and drove in a combined 42 RBI. Braden Phifer, Noah Clark, and Ethan Thomas hit .313, .302, and .301 respectively, and were solid leaders for the younger classes to look up to. The trio struck out only 44 times combined, while also getting 29 walks. Senior Ryan Hill only hit .211 at the plate, but was also an extra base power hitting five doubles and a home run. The Mustangs do have their top two hitters coming back for next season in Reed Worth who hit .374 and Preston Van Wyk who hit .344, but the seniors leave holes on the squad to fill. A full season recap of the PCM Mustang baseball season can be heard on the Knoxville Hyvee Radio Coaches Corner in the coming weeks.
