From start to finish, in multiple sports for both the boys and girls teams, the PCM Mustang senior class has had a fantastic 2016/2017.

In the fall, the Mustang football team had a one loss regular season and would end up with a 9-2 record and just one game away from the UNI Dome after winning their first round playoff game against Roland-Story. Chris Ellens also made the state meet for cross country.

The Mustangs had three different participants in the state wrestling meet, capped off by a second place finish from senior Xavier Miller. The Girls basketball team, led by a senior class of seven, took down West Marshall in the regional final to punch their ticket to the state tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

A solid performance at the state track and field meet on both the boys and girls sides capped off the spring season, while both the baseball and softball teams improved from losing records last year to post 18-10 and 17-13 records respectively.
