Wednesday morning a temporary bank building for Iowa State Savings Bank arrived in Melcher-Dallas.

The building is needed following a fire on the Melcher-Dallas square that destroyed two businesses and severely damaged the current bank facility during the Independence Day holiday. According to CEO Stu Job the temporary bank still needs to have electrical, phone, data, security, water and sewer hooked up before the bank can resume serving the community. The hope is for the temporary building to be open for business on Monday, July 24th.
