The NCAA has released attendance figures from the 2016-2017 basketball season, and the Iowa Conference is among the leaders in Division III.

In fact, the IIAC led the country in women’s basketball attendance with 444 fans per game, while finishing fifth in men’s attendance with an average of 541 per contest.

Central College drew 3,745 fans for its 12 men’s home games – an average of 312 – and 1,950 for 11 women’s home games – an average of 177.

The University of Dubuque led the Iowa Conference in both women’s and men’s attendance last basketball season.
